We welcome Marina Falcone
Marina brings great knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism to Brackin Elite Swim Training. She competed collegiately at William and Mary, where she was an NCAA All American and school record holder. Marina knew she had more to give in the sport and following graduation she continued to train and compete post college under direction the of Paul Yetter with T2 Aquatics in Naples, Florida at the national level from 2011-2012 and with NCAP (Nations Capital Swimming) from 2012-2014. She swam under the direction of coach, Bruce Gemmell who also coached Olympian Katie Ledecky. A coach as well as a competitive athlete, she has coached competitive youth programs for many years in Maryland and Florida. She holds a B.A. in Kinesiology from William and Mary and has spent the last 12 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. She currently continues her passion for fitness at the Vinoy Health club part time as a Fitness Professional and Pilates with Leigh. She spent two years coaching three separate swim programs at Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa as well working for Berkeley summer programs. She is a recent graduate of the EPI program at St. Petersburg College 2021 and has worked the last year as a PE teacher, currently teaching at Northwest Elementary. She currently competes in Open Water swimming, and enjoys golfing, baking, and sitting at the beach.
